FAITH, RECOVERY, AND WHAT TO DO WHEN LIFE FEELS UNFAIR
“We do not simply respond to nauseating, gut-wrenching evil. Deep down we are telling ourselves something about it. We are interpreting it in a particular way.”—Timothy Keller
Instead of strengthening us, pain and suffering often weakens our faith leading us to question God, His church, and His nature. This summer, I want to wrestle with this all-important question together. We’ll do our best to work through:
- What to do when you’re angry at or doubting God.
- How your expectations of God either make your painful experiences harder or easier.
- What to do when Church, faith, God, religion, or spirituality get in the way of actually feeling better.
- What to do when the answers you’re given just don’t make sense.
- How trauma, abuse, or addiction has impacted your faith development.

A Place To Ask The Hard Questions
Even though this series has been planned since last year, it seems to be highly relevant given the events our world has seen over the last several weeks. This series is open to any and all that are questioning, wondering, angry, scared, hurt, confused, hopeless, frustrated, or feeling lost. My hope is this series will help you find solid ground again.
A time of Q&A will be worked into each week where you’ll be able to ask your questions and get insight and response into your specific situation.
